BTCL is a voice carrier, IGW, IIG, ICX, ISP, NTTN, PSTN operator and cc domain (.bd) registrar. We have copper, optical fibre and microwave networks almost all over the country. BTCL started it's journey in 1853 as Posts and Telegraph Department. BTCL is now a Govt owned company. Major services we provide are land line telephone. dial-up internet, ADSL internet, high bandwidth local and international leased line, VPN, MPLS, country domain (.bd), co-location etc. Soon launching NGN soft switch based services and triple play over fibre to home. Have plan to go for LTE wireless services.
